Sundre’s main event of the year is again poised to host an international range of top rodeo talent while drawing out thousands of fans over the coming weekend.

Olds has a new speed swimming team. Clint Stevens, former coach of the Olds Rapids year-round swim club, has started up a summer competitive swim club, which he has named Rogue Racing Club (RRC).

Olds High School student Abi Irving dominated junior high track and field zones May 29. Irving finished second in the juvenile girls 100 metre (m) event and third in the juvenile girls 200 m event in which Nova Van Soest placed fourth.
