You won't hear many people around here complaining about an early spring, least of all golf fans. Due to inclement weather, last year's golf season started late and ended early, which made for a short golf season.

CARSTAIRS/CREMONA/DIDSBURY - Area students did very well at the recent Junior High Divisional Badminton Meet held in Olds. The April 16 meet featured boys and girls from grades 7-9 from schools across Chinook's Edge School Division.

Innisfail and area residents and those across Central Alberta, woke up to a winter scene this morning thanks to a spring storm moving through the area today (April 27).
