INNISFAIL – It was a day Canada will never forget. Seventy-five years later, Canadians gathered from coast to coast to remember the sacrifice of Canadian soldiers on D-Day, June 6, 1944.

Teachers, parents, family members, students and graduates gathered at Innisfail High School on Saturday, (June 8) for the Grade 12 graduation ceremony. A total of 75 students received their high school diploma from Innisfail High School this year.

The Innisfail Farmers Market has opened for the season and runs every Thursday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Innisfail Arena from May to September.

Members of the Phil-Can Neighbourhood Association of Innisfail and Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church recently gathered for a cheque presentation to Father Liju Jose in the amount of $5,563.75.

INNISFAIL - About 300 small plane pilots and family members registered this morning (June 6) at Big Bend Airport for the start of the western portion of the 2019 Canadian Owners and Pilots Association (COPA) convention.
