BREAKING: Olds RCMP chasing suspect in Red Deer County near Bowden

Residents in the area are urged to secure their home, not pick up any pedestrians, and call 911 if they see anything suspicious

RED DEER COUNTY —  Olds RCMP began tracking a suspect between Highway 587 and Township Road 350 from Range Road 12 and Range Road 14, northwest of Bowden in Red Deer County Friday morning.

“While we track this suspect we are asking area residents to secure their home, refrain from picking up any pedestrians, and call 911 if you see anything suspicious,” police said in an Aug. 1 news release issued around 11:30 a.m.

Police say updates will be provided when available.
