UPDATE: Boy missing from Sundre found safe

Sundre RCMP confirm child who had been reported missing Aug. 26 by family was located unharmed

SUNDRE – A 12-year-old boy who was reported missing after last being seen leaving his Sundre residence Tuesday on a bicycle has been found safe, Sundre RCMP have confirmed.

Earlier Wednesday morning, the RCMP had asked the public to keep an eye out for the boy whose family had reported him missing just prior to midnight on Tuesday, Aug. 26.

Members of the Sundre Volunteer Search and Rescue Society were also involved in the effort.

The Sundre RCMP detachment’s commander, Sgt. Courtney Harding, expressed gratitude for the public’s assistance in finding the child safe and sound.
