Constable reads a story prior to children getting chance to tour station that included sitting in squad car driver's seat

SUNDRE – More than a dozen children accompanied by their parents went on a field trip to the Sundre RCMP detachment on Wednesday, Aug. 20 that was organized as part of the Sundre Municipal Library’s Summer Reading Club.

The visit got started with a story time followed by a tour of the police station that included a chance to sit in a squad car driver’s seat activating emergency lights and sirens.

With kids getting ready to return to class, the club’s summer wrap-up party takes place Wednesday, Aug. 27 at the library from 1-2:30 p.m.
