Local resident Lisa White is upset with the size of recycling piles at the waste transfer station in Olds. White was at the transfer station last week. She was so concerned with what she saw that she brought some photos to the Albertan.

Break-in, hit and run investigated
Olds RCMP are investigating a break-in, a hit and run and damage to a lockbox that occurred in the area. The most recent incident is the hit and run, which police say occurred on Dec. 7 at 42nd Street and 56th Avenue. Cpl.

Santa's Secret Shop, which came to the Mountain View Credit Union (MVCU) in Olds for the first time, was such a success organizers plan to run it again next year. Santa's Secret Shop was set up in the MVCU lobby on Dec. 2.
