Following is a list of projects or causes undertaken or supported by the Olds Lions Club over its 50 years of existence, as cited by guest speaker Brian Stevenson during the club's 50th anniversary charter night at the legion April 28.

Red Deer College astrophysicist Robbie J. Halonen gave a presentation to Grade 6 students at École Deer Meadow School on May 3. It was his first visit to Olds. He set up a small planetarium in the gym.
