It is with deep love and sadness that we announce the passing of Robert William Weber of Carstairs, Alberta, on May 1, 2025, at the age of 86.
Robert was a hardworking man of many talents who lived a life full of experience and dedication. Over the years, he mastered a variety of trades and took pride in his work on the rigs, road construction, excavating, and as an oilfield consultant. His hands were never idle, and his work ethic was an inspiration to those who knew him.
Robert lived in Carstairs with his beloved wife, Judith Weber, until her passing in 2017. Together, they built a family grounded in love and strength. He will be dearly missed by his children: Cindy Bosse (Shawn), Ronald Weber (Lisa), Richard Weber (Cynthia), and Robert Weber (Jane); grandchildren: Michael Lane (Faith), Matthew Lane (Julie), Sydney Weber, Bailey Weber, Brookelynne Weber, and Ava Marie Weber; step-grandchildren: Taylor Spicer (Brandon), Taylor Bosch (Blake Henson), Hannah Dodd, and Allison Bosch; and great-grandchild Jett Lane. He was also a proud step-great-grandfather to Harper Knee, Declan Spicer, and Hayden Spicer.
Robert is survived by his siblings Grace LaRiviere, Eileen Miller, Robbin Smith, Jocelan Davis, Lyle Weber, Duane Weber, and Cameron Weber. He was predeceased by his loving wife Judith, his parents Ivar and Helen Weber, and his brother Kenneth Weber. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, May 26, 2025 at 12:30 p.m. at the Carstairs Community Hall, 1100 Lackner Way, Carstairs, Alberta. All who knew and loved Robert are welcome to attend and share in remembering a life well-lived.
He leaves behind a legacy of strength, hard work, and enduring love. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
