1937 – 2025
Shirley Clara Runham (Blain) of Olds, AB, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, July 3, 2025, at the age of 88 years.
Shirley was born May 21, 1937, at Colinton, AB. to Henry Nelson Blain and Clara Blain (Heins). She spent her growing up years on the farm at Eagle Hill. On July 12, 1953, she married Lyle Runham and spent almost 49 years raising and enjoying their family. After Lyle passed in 2002, Shirley moved to Olds and spent her last years in Seasons Retirement Community.
She was predeceased by her husband - Lyle and youngest son Darryl.
She is survived by Betty (Dan Hiebert, Dannette (Lonnie) Brown, Allen (Lorene) Runham, Carol (Brian) Hubschmid, Blain (Celene) Runham, Connie Runham; 14 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; brother Danny Blain, Ken Blain; sister Pat Reid.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 11, 2025, at the Bowden Community Church at 2:00pm.
