1943 – 2025
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Shirley Jean Roemmele (Mueller) who left us peacefully on June 6, 2025.
Shirley was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, sister-in-law and friend. Born on May 14, 1943, she will be sadly missed by her children Darin (Sharmon), Shelly (John), 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband Dennis and her parents Thelma and George Mueller. Her presence will be deeply missed but her spirit will live on through the countless memories shared with her.
Shirley was born in Carmangay, married in Champion in 1963, moved to a farm west of Olds in April of 1964, moved to Season’s in Olds after Dennis’ passing and finally to long term care in Innisfail until her passing.
Shirley was an active member of the Hainstock Community and the local ladies club. She loved the farm life and worked along with Dennis, helping when she could. She loved the annual trail riding trip to Ya Ha Tinda and spending time with her family and friends.
We are thankful for all the care Shirley was provided over the past two years. We are comforted that she is reunited with her beloved Dennis. Rest in peace Shirley, you will be forever remembered and dearly missed.
