It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Joan Markiwsky, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother on July 26, 2025, at the age of 85.
She is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, William (Bill), son Brian (Shelly), daughters Loreen (Phil), Carrie (Brad), Joanne (Stephen), 10 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters Yvonne, Esther, and Diane (LeRoy), her brothers Jay (Doris), Kiffer (Bev), sister-in-law Shirley, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by her parents, Jacob and Pearl Neufeld, brother Cecil, sisters Leora and Elizabeth, and grandson Brendan.
A celebration of life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #105 (5241 46 St. Olds, AB) on Thursday, August 7th, 2025, at 1:00 p.m.
