1938 – 2025
Mrs. Betty Mavis Hobbs (nee Gerrard) of Innisfail, Alberta passed away on Sunday, June 29, 2025 at the age of 87 years.
Betty was raised in the Kneehill district and then moved to Innisfail, Alberta, where she met and then married Jack Hobbs. They purchased Jack’s parents farm, where they raised their children, farmed together, and resided until recently.
Betty had many interests and hobbies, her favorites being gardening and pottery, which she enjoyed teaching to others, including her grandchildren. She loved meeting and visiting with people and was very involved with both the Innisfail Curling Club and the Farmer’s Market, where she would sell her pottery and visit with others.
Betty will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband of sixty-eight years, Jack, her family, and her friends.
