1938 – 2025
Our beloved Husband, Father and Papa, Mr. Lawrence Robert Duffin, passed away on Monday, May 5 2025.
Lawrence was born in Ottawa, Ontario on June 1, 1938 to parents Alfred and Edith Duffin.
He will be lovingly remembered by his loving wife of sixty-eight years, Eileen Duffin, his daughters, Sheree Howell (Reed) and Penny Sloan (Larry), his son, Timothy Duffin (Lisa), his grandchildren, Dusty (Sara), Cora Lea (Tyler), Dessee, Logan (Lisa), Camille (Justin), Nolan (Kailey), Cassandra (Kory), Benjamin and Mathew, and his great grandchildren, Lilly, Sadee, Stella, Reed, Emerson, Miller, Jasper, George, Adeline, Theo, Locklyn, Walter and Ripp. Lawrence is also survived by his two brothers, Richard Duffin (Marette) and Victor Duffin (Gloria), his sisters-in-law, Vera Trca, Meryl Campbell (Ernie), Sharon Carson, and Evie Jones (Dave), along with many nieces, nephews and numerous dear friends.
Lawrence's family would like to extend our deepest appreciation for the compassion and care given at Unit 21 at the Red Deer Regional Hospital, as well as the nurses and staff at the Rocky Mountain House Hospital. They would also like to give a very special thank you to the nurses and staff at Park Avenue at Creekside for their utmost care and compassion, to all of us, in his final days.
A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, May 28, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at the Harvest Centre at Westerner Park, 4847A - 19 Street, Red Deer, Alberta.
