Betty Mae Campbell, aged 78, passed away peacefully on July 1, 2025, in Didsbury, Alberta. Born on May 19, 1947, in Calgary, Alberta. 

Betty was predeceased by her parents, Ira and Verna Wisener (McGhee), her brother John Wisener, and her loving husband, Kenneth William Campbell of 31 years. 
She is survived by her three sisters, Patricia Prystupa (Frank), Iris Scribbins (Wayne), and Carol Crowfoot (Steve), as well as her sister-in-law, Patsy Wisener. Her son Rob Rapp (Dana) and daughter Marlene Flood, whom she shared with Eric Rapp, along with her stepchildren Kelly Campbell (Lindsay), Karen Campbell, and Kevin Campbell (Laureen).Betty was a proud grandmother to Ryan Flood, and her step-grandchildren, Steven Flood, Katrina Burgoyne, Colton, Courtney, Keyaira, Alyssa, and Justin Campbell. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and a close lifelong group of friends who were considered family. 

Betty’s beautiful smile and unwavering commitment to her loved ones were evident in her lifelong service of caring for others. She began her career at the Holy Cross Hospital in Calgary and retired from the Didsbury Hospital after many years of dedicated service.

Betty was actively involved with camping, car club, cribbage tournaments, bingo and
attending her children’s and grandchildren’s numerous events over the years. 

It brings solace that she is united with Ken, her parents and brother that she loved and missed very much. 

The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Aspen Ridge Lodge, The Didsbury Hospital, and her friends who spent time with Betty and provided comfort until her passing. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to Aspen Ridge Lodge, The Didsbury Hospital, or a charity of your choice.
