MOUNTAIN VIEW COUNTY - Eligible Mountain View County residents requiring special ballots for the upcoming municipal election can request them online or in person at the Mountain View County office.
“Mountain View county is offering special ballot voting for eligible voters who are unable to vote in person during advance voting or on election day in the 2025 municipal election,” officials said in a recent post on the county’s website.
Special ballot requests can be made starting on Aug. 20, exactly two months before the general election.
Requests for ballots submitted on or before Oct. 3 will result in the special ballot being mailed, and requests made from Oct. 4 to Oct. 15 must be picked up in-person at the county office.
“Regardless of when you request a special ballot, they will not be prepared until after nomination day on September 22,” say officials.
