The Innisfail Indians battled Mother Nature and tough pitching en route to a 1 and 1 record in Parkland Baseball League action last week.

After junior and senior track & field counties last week, head coach Adam Hogarth of Olds High School predicts one of his students could make it to provincials. Daniela Aguilar, 17, got first place in both the 400 m. dash and the 800 m.

Sundre's U-16 team takes on Olds at the Bergen Field on Wednesday. Sundre got goals from James Dyer (2), Lucas Dyer, David Newton, Jitse vandenHadelkamp (2) and Jelmer vandenHadelkamp. Sundre won 7 - 2.
