Two Olds College soccer athletes have been named male and female athletes of the week nationally and locally. They are Fabian Gromenida and Felicia Rodney of the school's men's and women's soccer teams.

The Sundre Skating Club wasted little time getting kids back on their skates last week after the arena opened for the season following the Thanksgiving long weekend. “We’re just starting out tonight,” said club president Lamar Tobin on Tuesday, Oct.

Numbers are up slightly from the average for the Sundre Junior Curling Club, whose members will soon be hitting the ice for another season. Jill Fee, club president, was at the Sundre Curling Rink on Wednesday, Oct. 9 during a registration drive.

Nigel Stebanuk, a forward on the men's soccer team, and Julianna Hallock, a goalkeeper for the women's soccer team, are the A&W Olds College Broncos athletes of the week for Sept. 30-Oct. 6.
