Starting Nov. 30, the Olds High School Drama Club will be performing the story of Sister Act at the TransCanada Theatre.

INNISFAIL – It’s always a good time when a group of guys get together for a men’s weekend at the cottage.

INNISFAIL – Classic country and old-time rock 'n’ roll will fill the hall in Red Deer when Innisfail’s Richard and Deborah Popovich take to the stage later this month.

The TransCanada Theatre will be visited by up-and-coming country music star Dan Davidson as a part of Brett Kissel’s We Were That Song Tour Part II this Thursday, Nov. 8, at 7:30 p.m.

Bowden resident Trudy Eikerman-Mills is the featured artist at the 2018 Olds Art Club's fall show and sale. This year's edition takes place at the Evergreen Centre Saturday, Nov. 3 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 4 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

CREMONA - After two decades of scrimping and saving by the library board, the Cremona Municipal Library is finally open following expansion. The expansion more than doubles the size of the library from 10 feet by 12 feet to 24 feet by 30 feet.

DIDSBURY - During her 19 years working at the Didsbury Municipal Library, manager Inez Kosinski saw plenty of changes and met many wonderful people.

The Mike Plume Band, a Canadian country band, is coming to Tracks Pub on Oct. 15 as part of a tour to promote their new album, Born By The Radio. The show will mark Mike Plume's first time in Olds.
