INNISFAIL - Following a month-long proactive policing project local Mounties have made a series of significant property crime and drug trafficking busts. "We are putting a lot of effort into decreasing crime," said Innisfail RCMP Sgt.

RED DEER COUNTY – Innisfail RCMP is investigating a two-vehicle collision at a regional highway intersection that claimed the life of a motorcycle driver. Cpl. Jon Cormier, a spokesperson for the RCMP, said the accident occurred at about 1:30 p.m.

INNISFAIL - Following repeated "super dangerous" games of chicken with trains by young school children, the town is redoubling its efforts to end the potentially deadly activity at a popular unregulated railway crossing area near the schools campus.

INNISFAIL - The town is adding a $100,000 component to the previously approved million-dollar reconstruction project on 45th Avenue. "It helps us solve an issue down on the south end of 45th Avenue.
