The Greenwood Campground could potentially receive a massive facelift to celebrate Canada's 150th anniversary if a grant application approved by council gets the green light from the federal government.

Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW) and Canada Post have agreed to extend the union's 72-hour notice in an attempt to reach an agreement. The 24-hour extension means there will be no job action taken by union members until Tuesday morning, Aug.

The FireSmart strategy has been put together and reviewed with suggestions brought forward by consulting firm CPP Environmental.
