Sundre residents awoke on Wednesday, Oct. 9 to find the season's first accumulation of snow. The weather forecast for next week calls for milder conditions.

There are a few changes coming to the annual charity check stop fundraising drive. “The biggest one is that it’s earlier than usual,” said Sari Werezak, Greenwood Neighbourhood Place’s executive director.

The 2018-19 Sundre High School Academic Awards Night was held on Friday, Sept. 27. More than 120 current and former students were honoured for their scholastic achievements from the 2018-19 school year.

Financial support from the municipality plays a pivotal role in helping to ensure the Sundre and District Museum remains an appealing asset that draws people from around the world.

Sundre scored a full five blooms in the annual provincial Communities in Bloom competition.
