Sundre Elks annual bingo marathon raises funds for lodge hall

Total of 71 people came out for the sixth annual event and approximately $3,000 raised with proceeds going towards building repairs

SUNDRE – The Sundre Elks Lodge No. 338 recently hosted their sixth annual Bingo Marathon.

Michelle Engelman, the local chapter’s exalted ruler, said 71 people attended with barbecue beef on a bun as well as salads and desserts served.

Cash was added to the prizes courtesy of contributions from several local businesses along with items that were also donated for door prizes and a raffle table.

Along the way, approximately $3,000 was raised with the proceeds going towards much-needed repairs at the lodge’s hall.

The 2026 event is scheduled for May 2.
