The irony is her statement, for which she is being condemned, is accurately reflected in the actions of condemnation by the Board.
Oh for the day when adults knew how to debate and disagree with those who held opinions different from theirs, without feeling that they needed to prohibit differing views. So much for tolerance.
And now this board, instead of teaching students about true tolerance and respectful disagreement, they are teaching that "brainwashing is brainwashing."

Since when is saying something on a private page "representing the board"; Does the board think it has a right to insiuate that when she & her husband (assuming she's married) decide to have sex, that's a representation of the board. What IF she gets pregnant and chooses to have an abortion, is that a representation of the board, as well.

What the question should be is: "Do you want Alberta to withdraw from the equalization plan?"
That would scare the fiscally irresponsible federal & Quebec governments more than anything else.

The irony in the board's decision is that they are proving exactly what her post declared.

The irony is the school board's response is exactly what happened in Hitler's pre-war Germany, under the rising tide of Nazism. "Brainwashing is brainwashing" and "Propaganda is propaganda". All that's missing is her being shipped off to re-education camps.

The poll question is flawed. It's like asking: "Is the sky brown or green? Yes or No.
The question should be: "Are you voting in favour of Jason Kenny's leadership?" That enables a binary answer of Yes or No.
Or the answer should be: "for" or "against".
But the way it's worded reflects poorly on the poll's writer.

While I believe Kenny has made some huge blunders while Premier and I believe Smith is correct in identifying the problem is: "the leadership hasn’t always listened to what the grassroots membership has said and what it is that Albertans want."
However, as a Wildrose Constituency Association President, while she was Wildrose Leader, I attest that her description of Kenny is exactly what she did when she was Leader. In fact, she lost her seat in Highwood for the simple reason that she did exactly as she described and thought only for herself - not for her members nor for the province - when she crossed the floor to join Prentice.
Her thinly veiled threat that she and others - if they don't get their way in the Leadership Review - will split the party, reeks of the base opportunism that she condemns in Kenny and she manifested in her own party leadership.

This seems more like a ploy aimed at the UCP Leadership Review one week after the removal of the tax. Let's hope the party members are more focused on principled and effective conservative leadership for the province, than on in little trinket bribes.

If you believe this is acceptable, then consider what your thought would be had the group that made the reservation, only to now have it cancelled, was a group promoting LGBTQ or gender transition agenda.
