Letter to the editor Re: “Mousseau will be missed,” p. 21 Oct. 2 Gazette. Thank you Craig (Lindsay, the commentary’s author) for printing such a thoughtful, heartfelt commentary. You hit it in the nail.

The Oct. 1 increase to Alberta’s minimum wage brought cheers from some and jeers from others. The increase to $15 an hour from $13.60 is billed by the provincial government as a move towards a fair wage for every Albertan.

If you live in Olds, Bowden, Didsbury or Carstairs it’s likely your newspaper was delivered by a carrier. Carriers are a resilient bunch offering a vital service. We have carriers of all ages.
