This year's 33rd annual Terry Fox Run/Walk in Olds for cancer research takes place Sunday, Sept. 14, starting from Centennial Park. Registration is at 12 p.m. and the run begins at 1 p.m. The run/walk begins at the gazebo in Centennial Park.

Water-ski jumper Ryan Dodd is out for revenge. Dodd is now preparing for several competitions this fall, including the U.S. Open, the Chile Night Jump, and the Rocketman Night Jump, after he just missed winning the London Night Jump.

Two people were killed during an early-morning accident near Olds on Highway 2 Sunday, Sept. 7. Police say the accident occurred at about 5:30 a.m. when the car hit a semi-trailer. The male driver and female passenger of the car died at the scene.
