Several families in the Olds are are going to be hosting 24 exchange students from Quebec May 1-8 to teach them about cultural events and the heritage of Western Canada.

INNISFAIL – RCMP have laid a manslaughter charge against a local man in connection to an incident outside the Innisfail Hotel earlier this week. At about 10:30 p.m.

Olds town council has cut this year's property tax increase. Originally the tax increase was going to be 2.5 per cent but after some debate amongst the members of council it was decided to only go up two per cent. The only councillor to back the 2.

Olds High School (OHS) principal Tom Christensen is alarmed by the amount of vaping occurring in the school.

Olds RCMP are investigating a graffiti spree in Olds with the hope of catching the person or persons responsible for it. Police received reports of the tagging on April 17 and 18. The reports primarily concerned graffiti in the Uptowne area.

This past weekend the second annual Homestead Feast was held at the Olds College Alumni Centre and there were some big announcements made regarding two new courses.
