Two men riding bikes to raise funds for mental health are expected to arrive in Olds. Both are making the trip from B.C. One is former Olds resident Curtis Ross, 37, who now lives in Kelowna and will be riding from there. The other is Ryan Phillips.

Olds Fire Department officials say the cause of a fire that occurred at Sundial Growers last week is not believed to have been suspicious. There were no reported injuries to any workers or firefighters. The fire was reported May 21 at about 2:30 a.m.

Olds resident Noel D'arcy completed a 10-kilometre run in full firefighter gear during the Calgary Marathon on May 26. It was a dry run for a possible half marathon or full marathon in all that gear, which weighs roughly 40 pounds.

Olds College has a new manager of its Technology Access Centre for Livestock Production (TAC). He is Sean Thompson. He began his new job April 15 and replaces Shannon Argent.

Olds council has written off the outstanding tax debt on an abandoned mobile home in the Olds Mobile Home Park. Council made that decision during its May 13 meeting. The outstanding taxes on the property are upwards of $21,000.
