OLDS — Town of Olds staff are continuing their annual outdoor tap water pressure testing program, starting Tuesday, May 27.
The program began Friday, May 23.
Tsting will be undertaken in areas around Ecole Deer Meadow School and Ecole Olds Elementary School.
A Town of Olds news release says water service won’t be interrupted during testing. However, minor disturbances such as noise or brief restrictions to sidewalk or lane access may occur.
During the program, residents in the affected areas may see crews working near utility boxes and hydrants.
“This important initiative helps ensure the integrity and reliability of our water system,” the news release says.
All testing is weather-dependent. Residents are advised to “stay tuned” or subscribe to the Town of Olds' email alerts for updates.
