BALTIMORE (AP) — Reggie Wells, who spent more than 30 years as Oprah Winfrey's personal makeup artist and worked with former first lady Michelle Obama, Beyoncé, Halle Berry and numerous other celebrities, has died. He was 76.

NEW YORK (AP) — Bud Harrelson, the scrappy and sure-handed shortstop who fought Pete Rose on the field during a playoff game and helped the New York Mets win an astonishing championship, died early Thursday morning. He was 79.

A woman on South Carolina's Hilton Head Island who drew national attention from stars such as Tyler Perry and Snoop Dogg as she fought off developers in her final years has died, according to a publicist for her family. She was 94.

Dmitry Feld, who spent nearly four decades with USA Luge as a coach and executive, died Wednesday because of complications from leukemia. He was 68. His death was announced by USA Luge, which received word from Feld's wife of his passing.

WASHINGTON (AP) — Amalija Knavs, the mother of former first lady Melania Trump, has died. Trump announced the death late Tuesday without disclosing the cause.

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Adan Canto, the Mexican singer and actor best known for his roles in “X-Men: Days of Future Past” and “Agent Game” as well as the TV series “The Cleaning Lady," has died. He was 42.

BRIDGEND, Wales (AP) — JPR Williams, the Wales rugby great of the 1970s known for his fearlessness and swashbuckling attacking style, has died. He was 74.

BERLIN (AP) — Franz Beckenbauer, who won the World Cup both as player and coach and became one of Germany’s most beloved personalities with his easygoing charm, has died. He was 78.

CALGARY — Former punter Burke Dales, who helped the Calgary Stampeders win the 2008 Grey Cup, has died. He was 46. The Stampeders confirmed Dales' death on Sunday. The cause was not revealed. Dales was a native of Collingwood, Ont.

LONDON (AP) — Roy Calne, a pioneer of organ transplantation who led Europe’s first liver transplant operation in 1968, has died aged 93.
