INNISFAIL – Another long-standing annual tradition of seven days of community spirit, fellowship and fun competition at the Innisfail Curling Club is in the books.

Tonight's Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL) game between the Olds Grizzlys and the Spruce Grove Saints (7 p.m.

This past weekend and the previous week saw some positive results for most Olds Broncos teams. The women's basketball team was the most dominant, winning both of its games against the Lethbridge College Kodiaks.

INNISFAIL – After an absence in the community of more than 30 years, the Innisfail Fish and Game Association is reviving its outdoorsmen dinner and awards banquet. The last awards banquet was held in 1985 at the Innisfail Royal Canadian Legion.

A small but mighty squad of Olds College basketball players are working hard to secure a spot for their team at the Alberta Colleges Athletics Conference playoffs. The Olds Broncos women's basketball team had a rough start to the season.

An Olds resident has been named an Alberta Midget AAA Hockey League Source For Sports Player of the Month. Ryan McBeath, a forward who plays for the league's Red Deer Optimist Chiefs, is one of two players of the month for December.
