By now, Albertans have no doubt heard the news that Premier Rachel Notley dropped the writ last week, kicking off the hotly anticipated 2019 provincial election campaign.

INNISFAIL - The 2019 provincial election race is on. On Tuesday morning (March 19) in Calgary, Premier Rachel Notley announced Albertans will go to the polls on April 16 for the province's 30th general election.

Locations for an advance polls and Election Day polling stations in Olds for the April 16 provincial election have now been determined. Advance polls will be held at the Olds Legion Hall from Tuesday, April 9 through Saturday, April 13.

With Albertans going to the polls on April 16, there are a total of eight declared candidates in region as of Tuesday.
