CARSTAIRS - A licence from Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis (AGLC) to operate a retail cannabis store has recently been granted to Canna Corp. for 1115 Hammond Street in Carstairs. The store will be the first of its kind in Carstairs.

DIDSBURY - The Town of Didsbury has been notified that it will be receiving funding to aid with infrastructure improvements prior to the provincial budget being passed.

CARSTAIRS - A different way of planning green space is resulting in the town’s first naturalized park which is progresing in large part due to community.

A Mountain View County-based exporter of hay and grains has received approval to add to its operations. The county’s municipal planning commission recently approved a development permit with conditions for Barr-Ag to expand its drying system.
