RCMP look for B&E suspect attending numerous homes, talking to residents

Three Hills RCMP say suspect believed to be approximately 50 years old broke into a residence on Friday, Aug. 8

Police are looking for a male suspect who reportedly broke into a residence in Three Hills and proceeded to steal an assortment of items.

In a press release issued Monday, Three Hills RCMP said the male, believed to be approximately 50 years old, broke into the residence on Friday, Aug. 8 some time between the hours of 4:30 p.m. and 6:20 p.m.

“The suspect had attended the residence prior to the break and enter and spoke with the homeowner,” police said.

“The suspect told the homeowner he could repair his trailer for a fee of $300.”

The male later returned to commit the offence after the homeowner had left the residence, and police say they believe he attended other properties in the area to speak with homeowners and tenants.

The suspect is described as having short, white hair and was donning a grey sweater with red shirt and blue jeans. He was driving a newer model Ford F150.
