Mountain View County resident Karen Olson has a longtime interest in woodworking – and now, for the first time, she is sharing her handicrafts with the public.
The owner of The Twisted Post, Olson put her handmade Christmas ornaments up for sale at local craft sales for the first time this year.
She explained that many of her products, including tree hangings, have been made from recycled barnwood and fence posts. “I've always done this sort of stuff for family and friends, but never at craft sales,” said Olson.
She said she mostly uses power tools to make her handicrafts in her shop northeast of Cremona.
