Sundre GNP delivers Seniors' Week entertainment

SUNDRE – The Royal Canadian Legion Branch #223 in Sundre hosted on Thursday, June 5 an event put on by the Greenwood Neighbourhood Place Society in recognition of Seniors’ Week, which ran June 2-8.

Following lunch at noon with live entertainment provided by Sundre resident Kim Butts, who played some country music on an acoustic, was a square-dancing demonstration put on by a club called the Olds Calico Capers, whose performance was the first-ever in Sundre.

“We’re a small club but have a lot of fun,” said club caller Ron Morgan.
