Sundre and area farmers’ markets boast variety of vendors

From farm-fresh produce and eggs to unique handmade artisanal crafts, plenty to find at seasonal markets in Sundre and Bergen

SUNDRE – With summer well underway, two weekly farmers’ markets are now in season.

The Sundre Farmers’ Market, which is held indoors every Friday at the Sundre Curling Rink from 4:30-7 p.m., started earlier this spring and runs until September.

The Bergen Farmers’ Market, which is held outdoors with canopy tents set up by the Bergen Community Hall that can also serve as a backup interior venue in the event of bad weather, got started at the end of June and takes place every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. until September.

Both markets feature a variety of merchants who offer a wide range of items from farm fresh produce including eggs as well as baked goods and assorted meat products like sausages and beef jerky to unique handmade artisanal crafts.
