OLDS – The town is encouraging residents to share their thoughts about how to best use and conserve water by filling out a provincial survey by the June 30 deadline.
As the climate changes and Alberta’s population increases, water use and availability is becoming an ever greater concern, so the provincial government is undertaking a review of its Water Act.
Information about this review and public engagement are available on the provincial website.
Residents of Olds are encouraged to complete the online survey to share their input on the proposed amendments to the Act.
Click here to fill out the the survey, which aims to gather input on support for or against each of the proposed changes.
Town officials say it should take between 45 and 90 minutes to complete the survey.
