Olds residents encouraged to fill out provincial Water Act survey

Residents have until June 30 to complete the survey by providing their input on what changes they'd like to see in the provincial Water Act

OLDS – The town is encouraging residents to share their thoughts about how to best use and conserve water by filling out a provincial survey by the June 30 deadline.

As the climate changes and Alberta’s population increases, water use and availability is becoming an ever greater concern, so the provincial government is undertaking a review of its Water Act.

Residents of Olds are encouraged to complete the online survey to share their input on the proposed amendments to the  Act.

Click here to fill out the the survey, which aims to gather input on support for or against each of the proposed changes. 

Town officials say it should take between 45 and 90 minutes to complete the survey.
