“This campaign tells the story we know to be true about Olds,” mayor Judy Dahl is quoted as saying in the news release. “It shows the passion of our people, the strength of our institutions, and the sense of belonging you feel when you arrive.”
The release says the video is especially valuable for introducing Olds to new residents, professionals, and business owners considering a future in the community.
“This marks an exciting step forward in how we promote Olds,” Guy Lapointe, the town’s director of community services is quoted as saying. “The video reflects a shift to more user-focused, story-driven messaging that celebrates our strengths and character.”
More videos and campaign elements are expected to follow in the weeks and months ahead.
Residents, businesses and partners are encouraged to share the video through their networks and social media channels.
