OLDS — Town of Olds staff began conducting the municipality's annual outdoor tap water pressure testing program Friday, May 23.
Testing will only occur on weekdays between 7 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.
A Town of Olds news release says water service won’t be interrupted during testing. However, minor disturbances such as noise or brief restrictions to sidewalk or lane access may occur.
During the program, residents in the affected areas may see crews working near utility boxes and hydrants.
All testing is weather-dependent, residents are advised to “stay tuned” or subscribe to the Town of Olds' email alerts for updates.
“This important initiative helps ensure the integrity and reliability of our water system,” the news release says.
“Thank you for your patience and cooperation as we continue to maintain and improve our infrastructure.”
