Vincent Adrian Daly, 73, of Sundre, went home to meet his Heavenly Father and family on June 7, 2024.
He passed peacefully, surrounded by his loving wife Philomena, his sister Helen and dear friend Heather.
He is preceded in death by his father Michael and his mother Bridget (Keegan) Daly; his sister Helen in 1945; his brothers Father Michael Paul Daly in 2003 and Mickey Joe in 2022.
He leaves behind his wife Philomena; sisters Helen Dunne of Eagle Hill, AB, and Bridgett Daly of Lititz, PA, U.S.A.; his brother Edward Daly of Dublin Ireland, nieces, nephews, grand nephews, grand niece, Godchildren and extended family in Ireland. Vincent was born in Granard, County Longford, Ireland, and graduated from the Carmelite College, Moate, Co. Westmeath, where he pursued work in England and later in Ireland before moving to Sundre with Philomena in 1990.
A self-employed interior and external painter, well known in the area for the quality and care he put into his work. He enjoyed meeting people and easily made friends. He was a selfless, giving person. Vincent had a love of the arts, enjoyed stamp and coin collecting and scouting for antiques. He was very involved in the community, privileged to be part of the Catholic Churches of Our Lady of Fatima, Sundre, and Saint Stephen’s in Olds where his kindness, charity and love shone brightly.
