INNISFAIL – Travellers are being recommended this morning (Feb. 28) not to drive on Highway 2 from Airdrie to Red Deer due to poor driving conditions.

In a media release issued at 10:26 a.m., RCMP Cpl. Gina Slaney said the recommendation was made from reports by Alberta RCMP Traffic and Innisfail and Airdrie Rural RCMP.

Slaney said RCMP have responded to several collisions along the highway.

“Travel is not recommended at this time,” said Slaney.
